A long-time pop-up business specializing in wood-fired pizza and handmade pastas has finally found a permanent home in the Heights.

Angie’s Pizza opened July 28 at West 11th Street and has welcomed a stream of customers since, officials said.
The parlor’s new space comes after years of operating as a pop-up and building its clientele throughout Houston, according to an official post via Instagram.
Craving Italian cuisine?
Angie’s Pizza serves naturally fermented pizzas baked from a domed-style oven. Additional menu options include starters, made-in-house pastas, seasonal antipasti, desserts and alcoholic beverages, officials said.
Since opening, officials told Community Impact that its Margherita pizza and Piccante pizza are among the most popular specialty pies thus far. A popular pasta dish is the Ricotta Gnocchi, which features sausage ragu, Parmigiano-Reggiano and roasted garlic.
The pizzeria’s offerings are inspired by traditional Italian eats made from locally sourced meats, cheeses and produce, according to website details.

Patrons looking to visit Angie’s Pizza can also expect a full bar program from its cocktail lounge–titled Bar Angie–located on the second floor, along with other amenities, according to its social media.
Angie’s Pizza’s current hours of operation are from 5-10 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The parlor is closed on Sunday, per its Instagram at the time of publishing.
