Southlake May election filing starts Jan. 28

Individuals can file from Jan. 28 to 5 p.m. Feb. 27 at the city secretary's office at city hall.
Positions for mayor and city council Place 2 will be on the ballot. Each position serves a three-year term.
Early voting will be held from April 27 to May 5. All voters must be registered by April 9 in order to be eligible to cast a vote.
Because Southlake splits the Denton-Tarrant County line, voters must vote in the county they reside in. Polling locations will be announced by the city secretary as soon as they are finalized.
