Tex-Mex restaurant Lupe Tortilla is one step closer to opening in Southlake.
Lupe Tortilla received city council approval for the addition of a covered outdoor patio and shared an updated opening timeline at Southlake City Council’s Oct. 6 meeting.
Construction on the restaurant is ongoing but is expected to finish around the beginning of January 2027, said Scott Leach, director of construction development at Lupe Tortilla Restaurants.
“Getting operations to get it open is beyond my control,” Leach told the council. “But that's where we’re shooting.”
