Crate & Barrel’s new store within Southlake Town Square is now open.
The store sells a selection of home furnishings, including sofas, dining tables and chairs. Customers can also purchase kitchen appliances, floral arrangements, silverware, bedding and towels.
The Southlake location also has The Design Desk, which can help customers design specific rooms up to the whole home.
Crate & Barrel’s new store takes over a location previously occupied by Market by Macy’s, according to previous reporting.
A new personalized tanning business, GoGlow, is now open in Southlake.
The business offers customized spray tans, which are applied based on a client’s skin tone, area developer and manager Mandy Baker said. Customers can also buy a selection of skincare and tanning products at the store.
Baker said the products sold in store are developed by the same person who formulated the spray tans.
The Southlake location is the company’s first in Tarrant County, Baker said.
Sir Sweeney Barbershop and Lounge in Southlake is now open.
Sir Sweeney Barbershop and Lounge offers luxury men's barbershop services as well as waxing and scalp massages. The barbershop also features a private spa treatment room as well as an upscale lounge. Sir Sweeney Barbershop and Lounge also offers The Sweeney Club, a membership package that includes unlimited grooming services, full lounge access and a workspace with complimentary beverages.
Jeff Adams, co-founder and lead barber, believes that going to Sir Sweeney is more than a service.
“It is about creating a level of consistency and comfort that becomes part of your routine,” Adams said. “Southlake allows us to deliver that in a more complete way.”
Southlake is Sir Sweeney Barbershop and Lounge’s second location in Texas alongside the original in Dallas that opened in 2024.
Construction-themed adventure park Dig World plans to hold a grand opening at its Grapevine Mills location in mid-July.
The park will include areas where guests can operate excavators to fix a broken pipe, connect railway segments or move nearly 1,000 pounds of sand per scoop, according to its website. There is also a driving course for guests to traverse different terrain in skid steers.
Additionally, the Grapevine location will have a Dude Perfect portion of the course that includes throwing a basketball or football at a target, or using an excavator to putt a golf ball. Dig World will also have an attraction called The Crusher that involves using a 20,000-pound asphalt roller on a construction-themed toy and taking home the pieces in a bag.
Bookings are open for early access to the park July 3-10. Some attractions may be limited as the finishing touches are put on the park, according to the website.
IV therapy and wellness clinic Hydration Room is coming soon to Southlake.
Hydration Room will offer medically guided IV therapy for wellness infusion and immune support.
Hydration Room offers services in cold and flu prevention, skin health, fitness recovery, stress reduction, and more, which are available to book on their website.
Southlake has been selected as the site for the first Texas location of this Southern California-based business, according to the website.
Pilates studio inLIFE Wellness plans to open a new location in Southlake.
The studio offers a combination of reformer Pilates and fusion classes, which blend reformer Pilates work with barre, strength, conditioning and low-impact cardio, owner Taj Patel said.
“We chose Southlake for its vibrant, health-conscious community that values wellness and active living,” Patel said in an email. “We are looking forward to providing a premium studio experience where members can challenge their bodies without feeling intimidated.”
InLIFE Wellness has several other locations in North Texas, including Flower Mound, Frisco and McKinney.
A new business focused on child development and soccer training, KidsUnited, is set to open in Grapevine later this summer.
David Turner, co-owner of the Grapevine location, said the business offers 45-minute classes for children 18 months to 9 years old that focus on socialization, activity-based learning and developing soccer skills in a noncompetitive environment.
“It’s a noncompetitive environment to focus on kids and the mind, body and spirit development before they get into competitive sports,” Turner said."It’s built on a European model to teach kids and help them develop.”
Classes at KidsUnited have a set curriculum and are offered for several different age groups, Turner said. Parent participation is also incorporated into classes with younger children, such as the KUB and Little Champs programs, according to the website.
Pilates Addiction, a national Pilates boutique, is opening a new location in Southlake, according to an update on their website.
The new location will be located near Southlake Town Square near the intersection of East Southlake Boulevard and South Village Center Drive.
According to its website, Pilates Addiction provides four distinct group Pilates classes: Ignite, Core+, Max and Mobility RX. Pilates Addiction specializes in the Aurum Reformer, a machine that combines the reformer, wunda chair, ballet bar and jump board into one and is designed to improve strength and mobility, owner Rafael Florencia said.
Construction on the 1,202-square-foot studio is set to begin in early June and conclude in late August, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
The Designery is opening a new location in Southlake in July.
Owner James Bohan-Pitt said the grand opening of The Designery's showroom will be in September.
The Designery offers interior remodeling as well as custom kitchen cabinets, countertops, tile, flooring and closets.
Southlake is The Designery’s fifth location alongside others in San Antonio, Houston, Austin and The Woodlands.
A new Ulta Beauty location is expected to open later this year, according to Grapevine Mills officials.
Ulta Beauty sells fragrances, skin and hair care products, makeup and wellness items.
Earlier this year, the company made a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation to renovate 6,545 square feet within the mall at an estimated cost of $650,790.
Ulta Beauty has several other North Texas locations, including in Southlake, Euless and Irving.
Pet Supplies Plus is opening a new location in Grapevine.
Pet Supplies Plus offers pet toys, treats and different types of pet food as well as grooming services such as pet bathing and nail trimming. Pet Supplies Plus also offers customers a self serve pet wash in their store.
The Texas-based chain is set to begin construction in June and finish in September 2026 based on a filling with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The estimated cost for the project is $780,000.
Agit clothing has relocated to a new suite in Grapevine Mills mall.
Agit opened in their old location in June 2024 and relocated to their current location in late May, a company staff member said.
According to their company's website, the clothing store sells affordable streetwear styles for men and women consisting of clothing, accessories and backpacks.
Specialty skin care and bath works retailer, L’Occitane en Provence, will change suites within Southlake Town Square.
The new store will look more modern and be more spa-like, store staff said. The current location at 1428 Civic Place in Southlake remains open, but may close one or two days before the move, staff said.
L’Occitane sells a selection of skin care products, soaps and fragrances for men and women.
Saks OFF 5th at Grapevine Mills mall is temporarily closed and will be relocating suites.
Saks OFF 5th will be taking over the previously empty suite from Neiman Marcus Last Call and plans to reopen in late June.
Saks OFF 5th sells men's and women's designer clothing, handbags, jewelry, shoes and accessories from Saks 5th Avenue at discounted prices.
The Grapevine Mills Saks OFF 5th will be the last remaining location in Texas, as Saks Global filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protections Jan. 14.
A business specializing in providing senior care resources, Senior Helpers of Grapevine Lake, has relocated from Southlake to Grapevine.
Senior Helpers provides nonmedical in-home care for seniors, according to its website. Its caregivers help with cooking, cleaning, bathing, changing sheets and more.
Senior Helpers of Grapevine Lake serves Grapevine, Colleyville, Southlake, Flower Mound, Euless and Bedford, per its website.
Jonna Anaya, who co-owns the Grapevine location with her husband, Abel, said Senior Helpers has been in business for three years. The business was previously located at 1723 E. Southlake Blvd., Ste. 140, in Southlake before moving in June.
The Gift Bar will be relocating to Colleyville Town Center this summer.
The Gift Bar is currently located at 1821 John McCain Road. Owner Sarah Varney said that the new location will include a candle studio where customers can make and pour their own scented candles.
The Gift Bar also sells curated gift boxes as well as unique gifts for any occasion, according to their website.
Grapevine Italian restaurant Amore’s Pasta and Pizza is now open under new ownership.
After a closure under previous owners, Santosh Chitrakar, the new owner, said he reopened the business May 1. For now, he said the menu and recipes remain the same at Amore’s.
Customers can order from a menu that includes pizzas, pastas, salads and desserts, according to the website.
Tommy Tamale rebranded as Atomic Tamales and Tacos in late April for all its locations, a company representative said.
The rebrand comes as the Grapevine location undergoes a complete remodel and adds a full bar and new menu items, a social media post states. Atomic Tamales also offers catering and delivery services.
The family-owned Tex-Mex restaurant offers a variety of tamales, bowls, nachos, quesadillas, burritos and other tamale-based dishes, according to its website.

Barker and his wife, JoAnn, later opened a small storefront in Grapevine, helping grow the business into a local brand with locations in Grapevine and Coppell. The restaurant has remained family-operated, with several family members helping run the business over the years.
Interior renovations on the Shoe Palace store within Grapevine Mills are expected to be completed by late July.
The renovations to the store are expected to create a fresher and more modern shopping experience for customers with an updated layout and refreshed interior, said Karla Panfilo, the store’s manager.
“We are excited about this investment in our Grapevine Mills store and look forward to welcoming our customers back into the newly renovated space,” Panfilo said in an email. “We appreciate the community's patience during the remodel.”
Renovations began June 2 and are expected to be completed by July 27.
