Aviation aftermarket inventory solutions provider AvAir has opened a new facility in Grapevine, according to a news release.
The new 45,000-square-foot warehouse facility located near Dallas Fort Worth International Airport is expected to support the company’s distribution and speed up nationwide delivery, per the news release. The facility is also expected to fulfill orders for the company’s 3,100 clients within the U.S. and internationally.
"Our customers rely on us to deliver the right inventory solutions quickly and efficiently," said Tyler Botthof, COO of AvAir, in the news release. "Our new Dallas location complements our facilities in Chandler and Dublin, creating a strategically located hub that enhances inventory availability and streamlines distribution to customers worldwide."
In addition to warehouse operations, the facility will house a sales and support team.
Baskin-Robbins celebrated the grand opening of its store in Colleyville Towne Square on July 18, an employee confirmed.
The new location opened at the beginning of July, but the ice cream shop hosted a grand opening party with ice cream scoops for $1.50.
Established in 1945, Baskin-Robbins features 31 different ice cream flavors alongside a variety of cakes, pies, milkshakes, sundaes and beverages.
KidStrong opened its Southlake location in late June, according to company staff.
The business offers weekly 45-minute fitness classes that are designed for children who are walking through 11 years old. KidStrong classes combine cognitive development, physical activity and life skills, according to its website.
All classes are taught by expert coaches, per the website.
A new Asian fusion restaurant, Kitchen Master, has opened in Southlake.
The menu focuses on Chinese dishes, but incorporates Japanese and Thai influences, restaurant staff said. Customers can order dishes including teriyaki chicken, black pepper steak and crab Rangoon.
Restaurant staff said the Southlake location also features house soup dumplings, sushi, including nigiri, and sashimi.
Kitchen Master takes over a space formerly occupied by Mughlai Fine Indian Restaurant, which closed in April 2024.
Coming soon
Flip Flop Shops will be opening this fall in Grapevine Mills mall, Grapevine Mills representative Andrea Taylor confirmed.
Flip Flop Shops will be taking over the previous location for Squishable, which closed in late June.
The business sells a variety of sandals and flip-flops from brands such as Birkenstock, Crocs, Havaianas, Rainbow and more.
Grapevine Mills will be the second location for Flip Flop Shops, along with the location in Port Aransas.
A new art gallery with a wine tasting room, Housewife Rebellion, plans to open near Grapevine’s Main Street.
The gallery will feature work by Nicole Heere, the founder and owner of Housewife Rebellion. The tasting room will offer wines, charcuterie and a special glitter pink lemonade recipe, Heere said.
Housewife Rebellion will have a rentable space called the Rebel Room for events. The business also plans to host watch parties for Bravo's “Real Housewives.”
The tasting room is initially expected to be open Thursday through Sunday, Heere said.
A business offering indoor sandboxes, Little Diggers, plans to open new locations in Colleyville and Plano this year.
The space has an indoor sandbox with more than 1,200 square feet for children ages 7 and under to play in, said Brooklyn Ogburn, the co-owner of the Colleyville and Plano locations. Within the play spaces, there are hundreds of construction-themed toys, including custom-made Sand Stacker and Tower Blocks.
Additionally, Ogburn said each location will have two birthday party rooms that have their own dedicated sandboxes.
“As local families and entrepreneurs, we wanted to bring something family focused to our communities,” Ogburn said in an email. “Our greatest desire is that our family venture will lead to incredible family memories for everyone who walks through our doors.”
Little Diggers has several other locations across the United States, according to its website.
Relocations
Fashion Q has moved to a new location at Suite 211 in Grapevine Mills and taken over the old Saks OFF 5th location.
The business sells women's shoes and accessories to go with clothing at an affordable price, according to its website.
Fashion Q has been at Grapevine Mills since August 2023, but has relocated to five different suites within Grapevine Mills. The previous location was in Suite 128.
Sullivan Financial Partners, an independent financial planning and wealth management firm, has relocated its Southlake office.
The company moved from 141 Countryside Court, Ste. 100 to 2530 SH 114, Ste. 120. The move creates a larger space designed to better serve clients and support the firm's continued growth, according to a news release.
Founded by Craig Sullivan on June 1, 2008, Sullivan Financial Partners helps individuals and families prepare for retirement through comprehensive financial planning. The firm's planning process brings together five pillars—income, investments, tax planning, healthcare planning and legacy planning—to create personalized strategies tailored to each client's goals and vision for the future, according to its website.

Angels’ Attic Upscale Resale, a volunteer-run ministry of White’s Chapel Methodist Church, celebrated its 20th anniversary in July.
The resale store sells a selection of clothing, home furniture, collectibles, antiques, jewelry, electronics and more, according to its website. Proceeds from sales are used to award grants to both local and global charities.
Angels’ Attic first opened its doors in 2006 within the Northwest Plaza Shopping Center in Grapevine. The store relocated to its current location in 2018, according to previous reporting.
The business’s 20th anniversary was commemorated with a ribbon-cutting by the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce on July 16.
Flips Patio Grill in Grapevine announced that they will be temporarily closing July 19 with plans to reopen.
After closing, Flips Patio Grill will begin a six- to eight-week renovation consisting of redoing the bar and knocking down walls and windows to transition the restaurant from smoking to non-smoking, Tim Hardy, the Flips Patio Grill general manager, confirmed.
The restaurant announced in a Facebook post that Flips Patio Grill will be having an exciting transformation.
“We can't wait to welcome you back to a refreshed space that honors everything you've loved while bringing something new for the future,” the business wrote.
Flips Patio Grill opened in 2006 and has served a variety of food made in-house daily, including chuck brisket burgers, hand-cut fries and fresh-baked bread.
As part of a rebrand from Fast Home Offer to REI Leads, a Grapevine-based company is also expanding its platform, according to a news release.
The company rebranded July 15 and continues to offer its services that help connect residential property investors with home sellers across the United States and Canada. The company will operate the REI Leads brand to connect with investors, while Fast Home Offer will work exclusively with home sellers, said Jeremy Brandt, founder and CEO of REI Leads.
REI Leads is a pay-per-lead technology platform that uses artificial intelligence, automated data enhancement and lead qualification technologies to provide acquisition opportunities for real estate investors, per the news release. The platform allows a homeowner looking for a cash buyer to connect with a local investor, Brandt said.
“Over two decades ago, I founded Fast Home Offer to provide investors a simple way to connect with sellers without complex marketing systems or high management overhead,” Brandt said in the news release. “More than 4 million home sellers have contacted us for a quick sale, and we know what it takes to create a great experience for home sellers and investors.”
Brandt founded Fast Home Offer in 2003 and the company’s office is located in Grapevine.
The Spice and Tea Exchange of Grapevine
The Spice and Tea Exchange of Grapevine is set to undergo renovations and will be closed July 25 through Aug. 10.
The Spice and Tea Exchange of Grapevine plans to do a complete renovation of the inside of the business and add new shelving and displays, according to company staff.
Spice and Tea Exchange of Grapevine opened on Main Street in 2012. The business sells tea, spices, salt, sweetener and kitchen accessories.
The final round of renovations within Weinberger’s Deli in Grapevine is expected to start in late July.
John Kirkpatrick, the day manager at Weinberger’s, said there will be a temporary closure July 27-31, with plans to reopen for customers Aug. 1. The renovations will include expanding the kitchen to allow for extra equipment and more room for staff, the installation of a radio and lighting, and the addition of a coffee and tea brewing station.
With the extra kitchen space, the restaurant will be able to add equipment to store ingredients that will be used for breakfast options, Kirkpatrick said. Weinberger’s plans to add breakfast items to the menu in August or early September, he added.
Further renovations within Weinberger’s, such as the addition of 60 chairs in a new dining room, were completed earlier this year.
Weinberger's sells a selection of more than 120 sandwiches, such as Reubens and Italian beef, along with hot dogs, salads and chili.
Closings
Milkshake Factory’s Grapevine location has permanently closed, according to a company spokesperson.
The business served handspun milkshakes available in several flavors, including cookie jar. Customers could also purchase chocolate-dipped strawberries and artisan chocolate bars, according to its website.
The store, which was located in the Grapevine Station North shopping center, opened in November 2024.
An Office Depot storefront in Grapevine is set to close later this summer, store staff said.
Items within the store are currently being sold at discounted prices. Store staff said further discounts will be applied weekly prior to the closing date.
Office Depot sells a selection of office supplies, printer ink and office furniture.
Stuffed toy store Squishable has closed its storefront within Grapevine Mills.
Squishable sold a collection of stuffed animals or foods. The stuffed toys come in several sizes, such as mini, regular and mega, according to its website.
The New York-based company opened the Grapevine Mills location in June 2024, according to previous reporting.
