To help boost literacy while many schools and libraries are closed, the Grapevine-based publishing company Waldorf Publishing is donating 10,000 books to schools, libraries and churches in Texas.
All the books that will be donated by the company are brand new and have a total combined retail value of more than $170,000, according to the news release.
There will be 100 recipients of the books, which will be given out 100 at a time once the Dallas-Fort Worth area is cleared from the novel coronavirus, Waldorf Publishing said in a news release.
Books can be reserved now by logging onto Waldorf Publishing at this link and filling out the form to reserve the 100 books. They will be reserved on a first-come, first served basis.
