CBD American Shaman is opening a storefront at 303 Northwest Hwy., Ste. C, Grapevine. The company sells cannabidiol oil, or CBD oil, which is a compound derived from hemp plants, co-owner Lance Griffin said. Although CBD oil and marijuana originate from the same type of plant, they are not the same, Griffin said. Legal in all 50 states, CBD oil has no mind-altering effects and relieves pain and anxiety as a natural alternative to pharmaceutical medications.
