A local art gallery, RTown Gallery, offers a unique space for creatives to exhibit and appreciate colorful works of art.

Visitors of RTown Gallery have described the location as bright and colorful, gallery manager Fawn Brown said.
“All the artists and the people that we work with, you can really see them shine with their personalities. And that’s a lot of fun,” Brown said.
The gallery first opened in 2022 before relocating to its current location in January 2023. Artists exhibited at the gallery tend to have an eclectic style, gallery owner Rachel Cerny said. She said the gallery represents a new voice in Grapevine.
“[The gallery is located in] a very historic downtown, which is charming and everyone loves it, but I think it brings the energy of today,” Cerny said.
Put in perspective
The gallery has become a community-driven space, Cerny said.
“We had a wedding reception here,” she said. “I want this to be a place where people can spend time.”
Cerny and Brown work to put together a new art show at the beginning of each month. Most artists showcased at RTown Gallery come from the Dallas-Fort Worth area, but some come from as far as California and Mexico City, Cerny said.
“The work that we choose is selected. It fits a certain criteria, and it’s curated,” Brown said.

The gallery is participating in its first art fair at Fort Worth’s Sundance Square from April 16-19. The fifth annual Fort Worth Art Fair celebrates the artistic legacy of local artists, according to its website.
RTown has also hosted events, such as its Plein Air Palooza, where artists were invited to paint and sketch outdoors. Brown said they’ve also recently assisted with furnishing a model home for the Grapevine-based Maykus Homes using art from the gallery.
“It’s been a busy start of the year,” Cerny said.
The gallery’s next art show is scheduled for May 2 from 7-9 p.m. It will explore empty fields, passing figures, fading light and “the stories that linger long after.”
