Georgetown home sales, median prices were mixed in September

The number of homes sold and their median prices varied across the Georgetown area in September, according to data from the Austin Board of Realtors.

While sales were mostly down year over year, home sales in ZIP code 78633 were up nearly 45%—with 22 more houses selling this September when compared to last September.

Similarly, while median sales prices were mostly down year over year, the median price of homes sold in ZIP code 78628 was up nearly 7% from last September,

Additionally, 78628 is also the only Georgetown ZIP code with a median home price of more than $500,000. There were 120 homes sold between $300,000 and $499,999. There were also:

• 17 homes sold for $900,000 or more
• 17 homes sold between $700,000 and $899,999
• 58 homes sold between $500,000 and $699,999
• 7 homes sold for $299,999 or less

Across every Georgetown ZIP code, homes sat on the market longer this September compared to last September. The number of days on the market more than doubled in each ZIP code during this time as well.
