Williamson County officials announced the bond committee is scheduled to hold its first meeting April 10 at 6 p.m.
The committee is made up of nine people appointed by the Commissioners Court. Members represent the county's four precincts and are tasked to review the current long-range transportation plan and receive input from city and county organizations and residents to advise the commissioners on calling bond elections, according to a Williamson County news release
"We encourage the citizens of Williamson County to attend these meetings in order to stay informed on our proceedings and to make sure that we have constructive input," committee Chairman Landy Warren said in a statement. "All viewpoints are welcome and will be considered."
Cities, municipal utility districts, school districts, public safety entities and residents are all invited to give their input, the release said.
