Georgetown Utility Systems announced an agreement March 31 with North Carolina-based Alevo and Nevada-based Ormat Technologies to build and operate the first energy-storage project in Georgetown, according to a city news release. The 10-megawatt energy-storage project will be located at the utility's Rabbit Hill substation in south Georgetown. www.georgetown.org
