A Georgetown ISD bus driver and aide were transported to Seton Medical Center Williamson for evaluation after a collision involving a GISD school bus this morning at the intersection of Rockride Lane and Sam Houston Avenue. No students were on the bus at the time of the accident, according to a news release from the district. The bus had been traveling westbound on Sam Houston Avenue when a utility truck driver failed to yield at a stop sign, according to the news release. Officials said the district dispatched another bus to pick up students traveling to Forbes Middle School.
