Georgetown Developer Francisco Choi presented plans for the second phase of Tamiro Plaza to the city’s Historic and Architectural Review Commission on Aug. 27. Choi was seeking a certificate of appropriateness for the infill project, which would build a four-story building at 501 S. Austin Ave. The proposed project would feature retail on the first floor and residential units on the other three floors. HARC postponed a decision on the proposed Tamiro Plaza Phase 2 until its Sept. 24 meeting and requested Choi present more photographic and physical samples of materials to be used in the project.
