Sweet Eats Fruit Farm Fall Festival through Nov. 21

The Sweet Eats Fruit Farm Fall Festival is going on through Nov. 21 and features a corn maze, acres of pick your own pumpkins, wagon rides, Oktoberfest Beer, an 11-foot pumpkin house and more. Williamson-Bell County Pecan Show Dec. 17

The Williamson-Bell County Pecan Show is happening in Georgetown with a pecan competition and food show on Dec. 17. The competition is open to any Williamson County resident with a pecan tree who would like to compete for best pecans in the county. Crops must be from 2021 and all pecans must be grown in Williamson County.

The pecan food show is open to junior and adult entries and consists of several categories, including pies, bread, rolls, candy, cakes, cookies, bars and fancy nuts. Entries for the pecan food show is $5 per entry.

Pecans can be dropped off Dec. 15 by 5 p.m. and food entries can be dropped off between 8 a.m. and noon on Dec. 17 at the Extension Office, 100 Wilco Way, Ste. AG201, Georgetown. 512-943-3300.
