Georgetown ISD is poised to welcome two new board of trustees members following the May 1 election results.
Unofficial results show Place 6 candidate Jen Mauldin with 55.97% of the vote against Tim Carr.
For Place 7, Stephen Benold had 53.49% of the vote while his opponents Ben Stewart and Jeff Siegismund had 36.36% and 10.15%, respectively.

With 19 of 27 polling locations reporting, Jen Mauldin and Stephen Benold continue to take the lead for Georgetown ISD board of trustees places 6 and 7, respectively, according to Williamson County Elections Department data.
As of 9:08 p.m., Mauldin had 57.73% of the vote, and Benold had 54.01%.
Mauldin's opponent is Tim Carr. Benold's opponents are incumbent Ben Stewart and Jeff Siegismund.

Two Georgetown ISD board of trustees seats—Place 6 and Place 7—are up for election May 1.
Early votes indicate Place 6 candidate Jen Mauldin in the lead over opponent Tim Carr.
As of 7:05 p.m., Mauldin leads with 3,419 votes, or 58.04%, while Carr had 2,472 votes, or 41.96%.
For Place 7, candidate Stephen Benold is in the lead with 3,142 votes or 54.25% over his two opponents, incumbent Ben Stewart and Jeff Siegismund. Stewart had 2,051 votes, or 34.51%, and Siegismund had 599 votes or 10.34%.
