Georgetown ISD will open its doors to more than 13,500 students for the first day of the 2024-25 school year Aug. 15.

Looking ahead

Check out some important dates for GISD students.

  • The first student holiday will be Sept. 2
  • Thanksgiving break is a full week Nov. 25-29.
  • Winter break will start Dec. 23, and classes will resume Jan. 7.
  • The last day of school is May 23.
