With the May election nearing an end, candidates for the Georgetown ISD board of trustees places 6 and 7 submitted their most recent campaign finance reports April 23. The reports detail expenditures and donations from April 1-23.
Place 6 candidate Tim Carr out-raised all the other candidates, raising a total of $6,865 and spending a total of $2,674. His opponent Jen Mauldin raised $2,366 and spent $3,451, the report said.
Place 7 candidate Stephen Benold out-raised incumbent Ben Stewart by collecting $2,573 and spending $1,728, the report said. Stewart raised $1,200 and spent $2,338, it said.
Financial campaign reports for Place 7 candidate Jeff Siegismund are not yet available as he has filed a modified report and has not gone over his $930 spending limit, district officials said.
