Georgetown ISD accepting nominations to serve on District Performance Committee

Georgetown ISD is accepting nominations for community members to sit on the District Performance Committee through Sept. 11.

What you need to know

The district is accepting nominations for parents, business representatives and other community members to serve two-year terms on this committee, which provides guidance on several areas serving the district's vision, mission and goals, such as the academic calendar.

Explaining the role

Per the district, committee members are required to meet at least twice per year and act in an advisory capacity in matters including the following:

• District improvement plan
• Calendar
• Other district initiatives
