Encantada now open in Georgetown in place of El Monumento

Encantada is now serving Mexican cuisine in downtown Georgetown.

The new restaurant has moved into the space previously occupied by El Monumento.

El Monumento announced its closure and transition of ownership through a Facebook post on Oct. 24. Alex and Cherie Weber, managers of El Monumento, are the new owners of Encantada.

Customers can find traditional Mexican dishes and some Mexican fusion specialties including chile relleno, quesadillas, fajitas, burritos and soups.
