As of April 20, Williamson County continued to have the highest percentage of census response among counties in Central Texas, according to U.S. Census Bureau data. Williamson County is also the sixth-leading county to respond to the census by percentage in Texas, data shows.
So far, 54.9% of Williamson County residents have completed the census, data shows.
About 51% of the nation’s households have responded to the census either online or by phone, up from 48.1% a week prior. And in Texas, 46.5% of people have responded, up from 43.7% a week prior, data shows. The average Central Texas response rate is 49.16%, it shows.
