The Williamson County and Cities Health District confirmed 116 additional cases of the coronavirus June 24, bringing the total to 1,614. This is largest daily increase the county has reported.
Currently, 25 patients are hospitalized, the highest number of hospitalizations the county has reported. There are also nine in intensive care, and four are on a ventilator, it said.
The WCCHD also reported 28% of beds and 65% of ventilators are available.
On June 23, the county added 87 new cases, bringing the total to 1,498. The county also reported its highest number of hospitalizations at that time at 24, and it was the first time the county reported more active cases than recovered cases with 732 and 722, respectively.
