Williamson County Public Affairs Manager Connie Odom said the county will continue to follow Gov. Greg Abbott’s order, including his March 2 announcement to lift the statewide mask mandate March 10.
On that date, Texans will no longer be required to wear a mask, and all businesses will be allowed to operate at full capacity in all counties not in an area with high hospitalizations.
Nonetheless, individuals are still strongly encouraged to wear a face covering over the nose and mouth wherever it is not feasible to maintain 6 feet of distance from another person not in their household, per the order.
