Georgetown has decided to postpone its fourth annual State of the City event scheduled for Feb. 1 due to unsafe weather and road conditions, according to a press release.
The event has been rescheduled for Feb 15.
“We have a lot of important information to share about the steps we are taking to plan and prepare for Georgetown’s continued growth, while maintaining the welcoming, vibrant city we all love,” Mayor Josh Schroeder said in a press release announcing the event.
The State of City will include a presentation from Schroeder and City Manager David Morgan that will highlight significant events and major projects completed in 2022 as well as preview those slated for 2023.
