How we got here
The restaurant shut down in June 2023 for renovations and Alexa MGMT took over the property in October 2023, according to a spokesperson with the restaurant.
The Stagecoach Inn & Restaurant partnered with Monument Group, affiliated with Georgetown’s Monument Cafe, to breathe “new life” into the historic restaurant, according to a news release.
Quote of note
“The Stagecoach established itself as a welcoming rest stop on the Chisholm Trail for weary travelers over 160 years ago and that southern hospitality continues today,” said Rusty Winkstern of Monument Group in the release.
