Avalon Monuments has relocated within Georgetown following a change in ownership.
What to know
The business was previously owned by Lois and Larry Townsend for 18 years. The couple is now retiring and passing the business baton to new owners.
"Welcome new owners and new location," Lois Townsend said. "As we retire, thank you to Georgetown and surrounding areas for 18 wonderful years."
The nearly two-decade-old business moved from its previous location at 1004 S. Austin Ave., Georgetown, in mid-December, according to information provided by the new owners.
Avalon Monuments offers custom monuments, headstones, portraits, memorials, cremation urns, bronzed granite, styled benches and other specialized items.
