1. Living Bliss Wellness Boutique
The business, owned by Zhe Song and Tadd Riley, offers holistic wellness coaching to help clients set goals and make sustainable lifestyle changes. Additionally, it has infrared sauna, cold plunge and red light therapy services, and carries lines of clean products, including household cleaners, skincare and supplements.

The business offers professional estate sale, downsizing and business liquidation services. The local home-based franchise, which serves Georgetown and other Williamson County communities, is owned by Kristen Carlson. Sydney Greenwalt will lead day-to-day operations.

3. H-E-B renovation
The grocer plans to upgrade two area stores as part of its Fresh Initiative, which will renovate stores across Central Texas. The upgrades to the location on University Boulevard as well as the Ronald Reagan store in Leander will cost approximately $800,000 combined and will begin in August, according to the filing. Construction is expected to last about a month.

This project includes the construction of a new 11,200-square-foot area engineer office building on the existing 10.2-acre Texas Department of Transportation property. Construction on the $19 million renovation and expansion project is expected to start in December and last through May 2029.

5. Urban Cottage Boutique
Previously located at 1110 Williams Drive, the boutique moved its storefront to downtown. Owned by Cameo McGraw, the store carries women’s fine fashion and accessories, collected vintage items and decor, and a selection of gifts.

The coffee truck is moving to a brick-and-mortar building near where it’s currently parked. The business serves a selection of craft lattes, teas and refreshers.

7. St. David’s Georgetown Hospital
Rachel Sloan assumed the role of chief operating officer of St. David’s Georgetown Hospital on June 1. In the position, Sloan will support the growing community’s needs by overseeing daily operations, using her prior experience leading major health care facility modernization projects, according to a news release.

The Southlake-based restaurant chain announced June 29 that it has been acquired by Local Favorite Restaurants from Altamont Capital Partners. Cotton Patch Cafe offers a variety of Southern staples, including chicken fried steak, roasted turkey and meatloaf as well as steak, burgers and sandwiches from the grill.

Hopdoddy Burger Bar has been acquired by New York-based Founders Table Restaurant Group. Hopdoddy was founded in Austin in 2010 and has 47 locations today, including in Houston, Dallas and San Antonio.

The hotel—which features a conference center, two restaurants and bars, a heated outdoor pool, a fitness •center, a lounge and other amenities—is celebrating its 10-year anniversary. The building first opened July 28, 2026.

Through the Big Pink Bus, the health care provider has brought mobile mammography and breast cancer screening services to communities across Central Texas for five years. The Big Pink Bus first launched in July 2021.
Closings11. Frozen Flamingo
Owner Faith Thomas announced that the cold treat shop is for sale. The business is operating on the assumption that this will be its final summer, and is planning to permanently close this fall. Frozen Flamingo sells frozen custard, shaved ice and frozen cocktails, and offers a variety of flavors, toppings and add-ins.
