- Autumn Walking Tours begin at the Museum of the American Railroad
Guided walk tours of the museum continue this fall. Site tours are entirely outdoors and involve walking and some climbing. Tours last approximately 45 minutes and will be available each Thursday and Friday at 1 p.m. and Saturdays at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. through December 30. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 3-12. Guests should meet at the Frisco Heritage Museum, but the tour will take place at the Museum of the American Railroad, 6455 Page St., Frisco. www.museumoftheamericanrailroad.org
- Spend an evening with Sinatra and Friends
Odysseus North Texas Chamber Orchestra presents musical performances featuring hits by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Junior. The orchestra, joined by entertainment singer Teddy Davey, will also showcase original arrangements of the jazzy big-band sound. Online tickets are $18 for adults and $13 for seniors. - Frisco Book Fest returns for the second year
The Frisco Public Library is hosting the annual Frisco Book Fest, in which readers can meet local authors and illustrators.
