Wal-Mart Stores Inc. has plans to open another Wal-Mart Supercenter in 2017 in addition to the two Supercenters already in development in Frisco.
Frisco City Council most likely will not make a decision on the new proposed Wal-Mart until August.
In June the Frisco Planning and Zoning Commission approved preliminary site plans for a new Wal-Mart Supercenter on the southeast corner of FM 423 and US 380. The entire development includes fast-food restaurants, a convenience store, a bank and retail buildings.
P&Z Chairman Bill Woodard said the plans for the new store would not affect the other stores in development.
