Frisco ISD announced it closed its COVID-19 testing site at Kuykendall Stadium on Jan. 13 to make way for a site with a greater testing capacity.
Beginning Jan. 18, Bacchus Park at 13995 Main St. will serve as the new voluntary testing site. Separate entrance lines for students and staff will be established, according to the announcement.
FISD said a large response spurred the city of Frisco to allow Nomi Health to move the testing site to the public park.
Due to limited testing supplies and a worker shortage, FISD said the site will be closed to the general public, including family members of students and staff.
