DATA: More than 66,000 people turn out to vote early in Frisco during first 2 weeks

More than 66,000 people have voted in person in Frisco since the start of early voting.

There are seven early-voting locations in Frisco; however, both Collin and Denton County residents can cast ballots at any countywide polling location during early voting.

The Collin College Frisco campus has been the most popular Frisco polling location with about 1,168 voters showing up each day on average. The Frisco Government Center has seen the lowest turnout, averaging about 505 voters per day.

Collin County has seen 332,477 residents cast ballots since the start of early voting. Elections Administrator Bruce Sherbet told Community Impact Newspaper that he expects record turnout this year due to a surge in the number of registered voters.

Denton County has seen 275,580 residents cast early ballots.

Early voting will continue until Oct. 30. Election Day is Nov. 3.
