Japanese fusion restaurant Silver Sea Sushi now open in Flower Mound
The restaurant has several nigiri options, sashimi and hand-rolled sushi, according to a restaurant representative. It also offers bowls such as the seared salmon ikura, which includes salmon, fish eggs and oshinko, or pickled vegetables, over sushi rice. Other options include its wagyu gyoza and miso black cod.
Yokozuna Bento-Sando serving Japanese food in Plano after five-month closure
Yokozuna Bento-Sando is back in business after a five-month hiatus, the owner confirmed. The restaurant reopened in March after closing its doors for undisclosed reasons in September. The eatery specializes in sandos, a Japanese-style sandwich made with white bread and fillings such as chicken, pork or tofu. The restaurant's fruit sandos, made with fruit and whipped cream, are especially popular.

Donut and coffee shop Sugar Llamas under new ownership in Keller
Sugar Llamas is now operating under a new owner, Yohana Steel, as of March 1. The business offers custom-designed mini doughnuts for individual purchase, parties, corporate events and other gatherings, according to its website. The shop has nearly two dozen flavors of doughnuts, such as banana pudding, cotton candy, sopapilla and strawberry shortcake.

Townhouse Brunch offers quality service alongside fresh brunch food in Colleyville
Popular menu items include the Townhouse Breakfast, which has eggs cooked to preference; a choice of meat, such as ham, bacon, sausage, chicken apple sausage, turkey bacon, or turkey sausage; or a vegetarian version of the meal with vegetables or tofu, owner Sam Pisike said. Other classics include the eggs Benedict, which has an English muffin, Canadian bacon, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. Pisike, who took ownership more than a year ago, plans to maintain the quality of food and customer service within Townhouse Brunch and isn’t planning on changing anything about the cafe.
Osaka Hibachi Sushi & Bar offers authentic Japanese dishes in Frisco
Dana Zhang, who co-owns Osaka Hibachi Sushi & Bar with Jie Weng, said Osaka’s menu includes authentic Japanese dishes such as hibachi, sushi and ramen. Osaka’s Frisco roll—featuring scallop, spicy tuna, mango and topped with spicy crab, eel sauce and spicy mayo—is a top-selling sushi option. Their combination hibachi dinner is a popular dish. It includes two proteins, soup, salad, vegetables, two pieces of shrimp and steamed rice. Hibachi is prepared in the kitchen and served in the dining area or at one of multiple hibachi stations. Hibachi lunch specials are also available.
