Medical City Frisco’s new patient tower is on schedule to be complete by December 2022.
The two-story hospital tower will primarily house spine and orthopedics patients, and it will also have surgery and ICU-level care. The foundation of the building allows for growth to eight floors in the future, CEO Patrick Rohan said in an email.
Construction began on the tower in February. The design features a new entrance from Main Street and an additional helicopter pad for transfers, officials said.
The $91 million project was approved in 2019 and includes 300 additional parking spaces, 36 more patient beds and 118,481 square feet of space, project details state.
