For the third straight day, health officials in Collin and Denton counties confirmed no new cases of COVID-19 in Frisco on May 11.
The only change in the city's numbers was a newly reported recovery. That brought Frisco's total recoveries to 109 out of the 142 total confirmed cases in the city. Of those total cases in Frisco, 87 have been from Collin County, and 55 have been from Denton County.
Collin County health officials confirmed another another coronavirus-related death on May 11 and a total of 21 new cases of COVID-19. No further details have been released on the patient who died.
With the new cases, the county's total is now 939 confirmed cases. So far, 605 Collin County residents have recovered from the virus, and 29 have died. There are currently 305 active cases in the county, officials said.
