Collin County residents now have more flexibility in receiving vaccines against COVID-19.
Collin County Health Care Services announced on July 27 the creation of mobile vaccination teams. Residents can request appointments for the free shots.
The teams will focus on reaching homebound individuals, long-term care facilities, businesses requesting vaccination for employees and other organizations, according to a news release. The mobile teams will also be available to attend events.
County officials said in the release that these teams were able to be developed thanks to recently-acquired grant money.
