Businesses can now apply to be a part of the 2027 PGA Championship in Frisco.
VendorMatch will connect local businesses with procurement opportunities for the 2027 championship. The deadline for businesses to register is May 27 and is available online. The VendorMatch will be a chance for businesses to be considered for sourcing before, during and after the tournament.
Some of the top vendor opportunities include construction for the tournament’s infrastructure, food and beverage services, hospitality, transportation, decor and signage, PGA Championship Director Jason Mengel said.
“[The 2027 PGA Championship will have] a $100 million positive economic impact on North Texas,” Mengel said. “It'll generate millions of dollars in taxable income.”

The 2027 PGA Championship will run May 20-23 in Frisco. This is the first time the men's major championship returns to North Texas since 1963. The tournament this year also coincides with the 100-year anniversary of the 1927 PGA Championship.
The 2027 PGA Championship will create more than 1,300 temporary jobs in the lead-up to the tournament, Mengel said.
Businesses don’t have to be golf related to participate, and with the VendorMatch program, PGA officials are trying to capture the local demographics through their business partnerships, Mengel said.
Even businesses that aren't official vendors can capitalize on the event. For example, construction and service teams will be living and working in the community from February through August 2027, driving sustained demand for local hotels, restaurants and rental properties, Mengel said.
“While this is focused on the 2027 PGA Championship, there is an opportunity if you come in and you have a great relationship with us and you do a good job for our service providers to extend that relationship in the future,” he said.
