Patti Ann’s Flowers' owners committed to shop, supporting downtown Frisco

The flower shop “has been here since 1982, and anybody who has been in Frisco for a length of time knows of Patti Ann’s,” Mark said.

Mark and Caryl lived in Richardson when they purchased the business but decided to move to Frisco soon after.

“Our sons were grown and it was a pretty easy decision to make,” Caryl said. “We’re making a commitment to the business and the city.”

Mark said he and Caryl were fortunate to have the previous owners help them out and keep the employees who had been with the shop for years and knew the business. He said they were also able to bring in experience from their business background in marketing, retail and customer service.

Patti Ann’s Flowers is a full-service florist, meaning it provides custom work, flowers for weddings and other events, and delivery, Mark said.

In their first three years of ownership, Mark and Caryl renovated the shop, allowing for more open space for consultations with customers.

Mark and Caryl are also a part of the Frisco Downtown Merchants Association and are involved in promoting downtown. They provide flowers for businesses and downtown events.

Mark and Caryl said they might consider opening a second flower shop.

“We just want to let folks know that we are here serving all of Frisco, and as new businesses come to Main Street, we expect to see more new people,” Mark said.
