A new performing arts facility is set to open in Frisco later this year. The Young Actors Theater Academy will include a main stage theater, a black box theater, rehearsal studios, classrooms and production spaces in a nearly 10,000 square foot space, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

The academy will offer “high-quality theater education in a positive, student-centered environment,” Founder and Executive Director Caydi Zerega said in an email.
At the academy students and families will find classes for acting, singing and dance, as well as specialty workshops, after-school programs, homeschool daytime programming through the Academy’s Conservatory and more opportunities designed to aid students of all experience levels.
