The Frisco Economic Development Corp. has approved a $250,000 incentive agreement to assist Addus HomeCare Inc. with a move to a new office and increase in its workforce.
During its Jan. 15 meeting, the Frisco EDC board of directors unanimously approved the performance agreement. It will assist Addus HomeCare as the in-home caregiver service moves into a space more than twice the size of its current office and adds up to 50 new employees over the next five years.
“They're currently in 31,000 square feet, with about 146 full-time employees, and they're expanding to 75,000 square feet over at Frisco Station,” said Stefanie E. Wagoner, Frisco EDC's director of business retention and expansion. “And they'll be growing up close to 200 employees within the next five years.”
Wagoner said Addus HomeCare expects to complete the move from its current location at 6801 Gaylord Parkway to the Frisco Station development, which is next to The Star in Frisco development on the west side of the Dallas North Tollway, before the end of the year.
