1. Little Explorer’s Nest
The Montessori School offers early childhood education from 6 weeks to 12 years old. The school offers full-day programs and after-school programs. The business is independently owned and operated by Pamela Bose and Dipanjan Das.

2. Arvest Bank
The office will open later this year on Preston Road and will be staffed by “a local team of commercial lenders,” a July 6 news release from Arvest states. These lenders will offer “a range of commercial loans, including real estate, lines of credit and equipment financing,” per the release.
3. Young Actors Theater Academy
The academy will include a main stage theater, a black box theater, rehearsal studios, classrooms and production spaces in a nearly 10,000 square foot space, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. At the academy students and families will find classes for acting, singing and dance, as well as specialty workshops, after-school programs, homeschool daytime programming through the Academy’s Conservatory and more opportunities designed to aid students of all experience levels.

4. Casa Durany's Tacos Y Mariscos
Frisco restaurant Sr Ozzy's Tacos Y Mariscos has rebranded to Casa Durany's Tacos Y Mariscos. The local Mexican seafood and taco restaurant has changed names due to ownership changes, confirmed owner Armando Duran. However, despite changes in ownership, the menu at Casa Durany's Tacos Y Mariscos will remain the same as Sr Ozzy's Tacos Y Mariscos.
5. PT Solutions Physical Therapy
According to a July 20 news release, three retail physical therapy clinics in Frisco, Plano and Dallas now operate under the name PT Solutions as part of Texas Health Resources. The launch marks the company’s first phase of a broader collaboration between the two organizations, a Texas Health news release states.
6. RaceTrac
The company is spending nearly $20 million to remodel 30 stores in North Texas, according to a company news release. The remodeled stores began reopening in May and will continue to reopen through the end of the year. Remodels include the following updates: a full grab-and-go pizza bar, a redesigned coffee area, a refreshed Swirl World frozen yogurt bar, updated interior graphics, signage and paint and décor throughout. 7. Red’s on Main
Local Frisco restaurant Red’s on Main has announced a temporary closure to secure additional funding. Red’s on Main officials said the business had experienced a decline in business this summer and can not currently operate, according to the businesses Facebook post. A reopening date was not announced. Red’s on Main opened in Frisco in February 2026 and served a variety of smash burgers, wings, and crafted paninis.
