The town of Flower Mound has announced closings effective Feb. 1 and until further notice.
Per the town website, the following updates are in place:
Road conditions
Emergency crews responded to several stuck vehicles overnight and this morning, per town officials. Fairway Drive at Lakeside Parkway is closed, as is the Gerault Road flyover bridge. US 377 between FM 1171 and Roanoke has reopened but should be avoided if possible, officials said.
Power outages
Several Oncor customers in Flower Mound have reported power outages, officials said, but restoration is expected beginning around noon. To report power outages:
All town office and facilities are closed today, Feb. 1, including Flower Mound Town Hall, the municipal court, senior center, animal adoption center, Community Activity Center and library. All town programs and activities are canceled.
Trash collection
Republic Services has canceled trash, recycling and bulk material collections today, Feb. 1.
