The details
The proposed budget includes decreasing the property tax rate to $0.3873 per $100 valuation from FY 2022-23’s $0.405. The general fund in the proposed budget revenue is $92.6 million. Expenditures are estimated to total $88.1 million.
After council approval, the budget and tax rate will go into effect Oct. 1.
