Argyle Town Administrator Erika McComis said she has taken a leave of absence from her Town Hall duties.
McComis told Community Impact she was on leave until after the May 6 elections.
Last week, Town Council approved, in a 4-1 vote, a resolution of no confidence for the mayor, Bryan Livingston. The vote came after the mayor, against the advice of town counsel, released attorney-client privileged information to the public that concerned an investigation involving the resignation of the former town secretary, Laura Calcote, last year and other incidents involving employees at Town Hall, according to discussion at the meeting and previously reported by Community Impact. Council Member Sherri Myers voted against the resolution.
At the council meeting April 24, council unanimously approved McComis to work from home through the canvassing of the election.
