Lewisville ISD held its regular March board meeting, approving a slew of items on the consent and regular agenda—including an update on district expenditures.

- Instruction: $325 million of $350 million budgeted
- School leadership: less than $50 million of $50 million-$75 million budgeted
- Pupil support services: less than $50 million of $60 million-$75 million budgeted
- General administration support: less than $5 million of $10 million-$15 million budgeted
- Nonpupil support services: approximately $40 million of $150 million budgeted
- Hebron High School: $28 million budgeted, $27.94 million spent
- Southridge Elementary School: $9.06 million budgeted, $8.38 million spent
May election update: Following the deadline to file for candidacy in the May 6 general election, numerous candidates have announced their withdrawal from the LISD board of trustees race.
Jake Preda and Thronn Hicks both withdrew from their respective elections, according to documents filed with the district. Preda withdrew his name from consideration for Place 6 and Hicks from consideration for Place 7.
