A site plan for an apartment complex with 300 units in western Flower Mound will head to council.
The planning and zoning commission unanimously recommended approval of the site plan for the complex called Aura Brookview during its Feb. 9 meeting. The approval also included a recommendation to approve an exception that would allow for a flat roof on the complex’s fitness center.

The proposed site plan includes four, four-story apartment buildings and 488 on-site parking spaces, according to town documents. Dallas-based developer Trinsic Residential Group designed the complex, which will sit on around 10.76 acres of Brookview, a 237-acre mixed-use development.
The apartment complex will be located near the intersection of Denton Creek Boulevard and Stonecrest Road within Brookview, and have access from both streets, according to town documents.
Per the submitted site plan, the complex’s amenities will include:
- A fitness center
- A dog park
- A pickleball court
- Pool area and pavilion
- Covered parking
Connor Osburn, a director with Trinsic Residential Group, said the fitness building will be private for the residents of the apartments.
“We invest heavily in these amenities for our residents’ daily life,” Osburn said.
Some context
Last October, Flower Mound Town Council approved a site plan for Phase 1A of the Brookview development, which includes more than 300 residences and an amenity center.
Phase 1A of Brookview will include 313 single-family homes, while Phase 1B, which was approved by the planning and zoning commission last September, has 140 townhomes.

Council members will consider approval of the apartment complex’s site plan during the Feb. 16 meeting.
