The first Girl Scout DreamLab in Texas is now open in Flower Mound, said Jennifer Bartkowski, chief executive officer of Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas.
The DreamLab is a multipurpose space that supports Girl Scout leadership development and exploration, according to the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas website. It includes a space for hands-on cooking, science, technology, engineering and math activities, a podcast and media studio, a craft area, office space, interactive activity zones and badge work areas, Bartkowski said.
Argyle Fine Wine & Spirits is now open, according to a company representative.
The business offers a variety of beer, wine and liquor.
Women of Argyle seeks to support women in the community with monthly meetings and connection clubs, which are clubs focused on specific interests such as reading, pickleball or food, founder and President Aimee Buckert said. The nonprofit also raises funds to support graduating seniors and young entrepreneurs in Argyle, she said.
Circle Star Brands has opened a second location for Branded Bowls in Flower Mound’s Lakeside development.
The restaurant’s menu includes a selection of salads and bowls. As restaurant staff get up to speed, the Flower Mound location will have a limited menu, co-owner Brian Gasperson said.
During the first 30 to 45 days, the business will focus on its dine-in business and will not have delivery or online ordering.
One Fusion will offer Indian-style food in Argyle later this year, said Goutham Tam, one of the partners on the project.
The restaurant will include fine dining seating and a dance floor where live performances and DJ nights will occur, Tam said.
One Fusion will also have an open bar, he said.
Baylor Scott & White is opening a new cardiovascular center in Argyle in 2026, said Matthew Olivolo, manager of North Texas media relations for Baylor Scott & White Health Systems.
Construction is expected to begin in October, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The 2,915-square-foot project is expected to cost $550,000.
Argyle Party and Gifts will be moving to a new location in Argyle later this year, owner Emily Holt said.
The business is currently located at 409 US 377, Argyle, and will be moving because there are plans to redevelop the property with new businesses and parking for the Argyle Nature Trail, she said.
Argyle Party and Gifts offers cards, spirit items, flowers, balloons and baked goods, according to the business’ Facebook page. The shop also has baking, craft classes and a seasonal farmers market.
North Texas Ob-Gyn Associates will be moving to a new location in Flower Mound next month, receptionist Hanah Sung said.
The office will be located in Center Place, a 44,000-square-foot building, along with two other medical offices, per previous reporting.
North Texas Ob-Gyn Associates provides obstetric care, including in-office ultrasound services and non-stress tests, gynecological care, including treating pelvic infections and menstrual irregularities, and preventive care, according to its website.
The office is currently located at 3424 Long Prairie Road, Ste. 200, Flower Mound, Sung said.
Salad and Go has announced the closure of 41 locations across Texas and Oklahoma, including one location in Flower Mound, according to a news release.
Salad and Go’s menu includes salads, wraps and soups. All of the closing locations ceased operations in mid-September. A full list of closures and stores remaining open in North Texas is available online.
