1. Craig Road construction
Project: The project will construct a three-lane road from Preston Road to First Street.
Update: The project is in the design phase and expected to start construction later this summer.
2. Teel Parkway widening
Project:
The project will widen Teel Parkway from a two-lane roadway to a four-lane divided roadway from Stafford Middle School to Olive Branch Road.Update: The project is expected to wrap up next year.
Project: Work on Parkway Street in Denton includes reconstructing select streets and water and sewer lines.
Update: Parkway Street is closed from Denton Street to Carroll Boulevard while crews install utilities and replace pavement.
4. East Wall Street
Project:
East Wall Street, west of Dooley Street to Austin Street, will have storm drainage installed to eliminate a ditch. Once the drainage improvements are complete, the city will have a contractor construct a 31-foot-wide curb and gutter street with sidewalks from Dooley Street to Austin Street in Grapevine.Update: Grapevine City Council approved a contract with Wright Construction Co. to do the work on Jan. 20.
Project:
Work includes elevating Bedford Road out of the Little Bear Creek floodplain between Somerset Boulevard and Saddlebrook Drive in Colleyville.Update: Colleyville City Council approved a preliminary design contract with Halff Associates, Inc. at the Feb. 3 council meeting.
