Voters in Denton have one more day to cast their ballot for the local election May 2.

What you need to know
Denton residents can only vote at their precinct between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on election day.
Residents can visit Denton County's election website to check on wait times at the polls and see a full list of precinct-based voting locations.
There will be five contested races on the ballot in the city of Denton for Denton City Council and Denton ISD. Community Impact conducted interviews with the candidates running for each race.
