From film festivals to Harry Potter-themed trivia, take a look at these eight events taking place in Denton in March.
International Women's Day Market
Celebrate International Women's Day at East Side by shopping unique handmade items from local women artisans, such as paintings, prints, baked goods, custom clothing and handmade jewelry. There will be food trucks and a full bar available. This event is for guests 21 and older.
Picasso’s Playground
Kids ages 5-11 can learn and experiment with two- and three-dimensional art and learn to paint, draw and sculpt at The Explorium in Denton for this art-themed spring break camp.

Texas Storytelling Festival
Enjoy spoken word and oral storytelling at the Texas Storytelling Festival at the Quakertown Civic Center. The festival will feature poetry slams, story slams, liars' contests, music and youth activities.
Intro to Pottery
At this introductory-level workshop at Wildflower Art Studio, each guest will create and glaze a slab-built wildflower mug, and mugs will be available for pick up within three weeks of being fired in the kiln. All supplies are included, and snacks and coffee will be available.
Harry Potter Trivia
Harry Potter fans can head to Lucky Lou’s in downtown Denton to test their knowledge of the wizarding world for Round 3 of the Frywizard Tournament, the annual Fry Street Harry Potter trivia series. The top-three teams in each round will advance to the finals in mid-April.
Thin Line Festival
Check out documentary films at the Thin Line Festival, the longest-running documentary film festival in Texas. This walkable event will also feature photography exhibits and performances from local musicians.

North Texas Bridal Show
Wedding vendors and engaged couples can connect at the North Texas Bridal Show at Five Star Rental. Vendors will include DJs, planners, venue managers, bartenders and florists. The show will also feature a resale market selling gently used wedding decor and accessories.
10th Annual Eggsibition
This silent auction features one-of-a-kind ceramic eggs, each uniquely decorated by local artists, businesses and community leaders. This year's theme is "Freeform 10," which encourages participants to interpret the theme of “10” in any way they choose. All proceeds benefit Artists Enclave and the Greater Denton Arts Council.
