Panda Express will be constructed off Randall Street in Denton.
The details
The $2 million new construction will start in June 2027 and is expected to wrap up by January 2028, according to the filing.
The 2,700-square-foot restaurant will have a drive-thru option, as well.
Panda Express is a fast-food Chinese restaurant chain that offers a variety of customizable rice, noodle and protein dishes, according to its website. Some menu items include kung pao chicken, orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, broccoli beef and honey walnut shrimp.
There are also options for bowls, plates, family dinners, kids' meals, appetizers and catering, the website states.
There are currently two Panda Express restaurants in Denton: one at 2700 W. University Drive and the other at 1320 S. Loop 288.
