Tattoo shop Red Rook Tattoo opened in downtown Denton in early April, shop artist Mik Barnett said.

The shop is in the space where Hurts so Good Tattoo was previously located. The shop offers daily $40 flash tattoos, custom tattoos and piercings. Flash tattoos are pre-designed tattoos that artists can quickly apply to clients' skin.

Red Rook Tattoo will host a grand opening event on June 20, Barnett said. The grand opening event will be from noon-5 p.m. and feature local vendors, according to the company’s instagram.
